Experimental To a solution of 1-(bromomethyl)-4-methoxybenzene (0.7 g 3.48 mmol) in dry 1 2 (20 ml) ZnBr2 (0.23 Ambrisentan g 1.02 mmol) and benzo[b]thiophene (0.7 g 5.22 mmol) were added.
